Why did you choose to attend UE's PsyD program over other graduate/doctoral programs?
I chose to attend UE because I live close, Dr. Jordan and Dr. Powless have clinical interests that are similar to mine, and it was founded the semester after I graduated from UE as an undergraduate!
What advice would you share with students going through the college search for graduate/doctoral programs?
Find a program that aligns with your core values, future clinical/research interests, and career aspirations. Do not pick a graduate program for the starting salary once you start working or solely because you want the title "Doctor."
Why do you recommend UE?
I recommend UE to students who prefer a smaller campus with smaller, and more intimate, classes with professors that can give you more of their attention (especially for graduate students). I also recommend UE to students who are excited by change and look forward to the evolution of the PsyD program in the coming years.
Hobbies?
I enjoy running, weightlifting, and playing video games.
